The Chair
In this chair, I spent many, many hours the first months of G's life. I remember buying it from a nice couple while I was still pregnant and COMPLETELY clueless about the way my life was headed. I remember moving day, when I sat nursing G, in my chair in an empty room as the movers and Jen worked. I remember late, late nights, when Jen would make sure I had tea, a snack, and the remote control before she headed back to bed. I'm not nostalgic for those moments, as they often sucked, but I do LOVE that chair, its ugliness aside.
We're passing the chair on to Amber and Marlon, who expect their own little guy any day now. And here is a picture of our big boy in it now.

Gliders rule. I couldn't cope with life without one.
